Yarmouth Community Garden

Thank you!

Rotary Club of Yarmouth

The Yarmouth Community Garden is very grateful to the Rotary Club of Yarmouth for helping to secure our perimeter. Thanks to their generous $700 donation, we were able to purchase new permanent fencing for the Community Plot and Children's Garden. On May 10th, Rotarians also volunteered their time helping to install the new fencing. Thanks for being such great neighbors!

Golden Trowel Award

Goes to Charlie Horstmann

On June 10th, we honored founding YCG Steering Committee member Charlie Horstmann with a Golden Trowel award. After more than a decade of service and leadership, Charlie decided to come off the steering committee to focus on his upcoming move. We are grateful to Charlie for his friendship, good humor, and hard work and hopeful that he'll visit the garden often.

Welcome

Yarmouth Community Garden is a mixed-use organic garden offering fertile soil for rental plots, a children's garden, and a Community Plot in which volunteers grow produce and flowers for neighbors in need. Read more about YCG's mission here.

We invite you to visit the garden during the growing season. You'll find it on East Main Street between Estabrook's and the Transfer Station. See a map.
