Harvest Dinner - click for full informationThanks to all who helped and participated in the 2016 Harvest Dinner on October 19th. We hope you enjoyed the dinner, silent auction, raffle, bake sale, kids craft table, and free pumpkins as much as we did. The money raised will help us get the garden started in 2017.

New Shed!

Thanks to a $3,000 grant from
the TD Charitable Foundation

Thanks to a generous $3,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, we have a beautiful new storage shed in the community garden. The new shed is larger and sturdier than the old one with windows and ventilation. It will permit better separation of seeds and garden supplies from heavy equipment like the mower, gasoline, and water system supplies. Best of all... no holes that permit tiny critters to get inside and bed down and build their nests!

YCG is Hiring!

Community Plot Coordinator for 2017

The Yarmouth Community Garden is accepting applications for a Community Plot Coordinator for the 2017 season. The job is to oversee the production of vegetables for donation to local food pantries and seniors, working with a dedicated steering committee and volunteers. On site work times include Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and estimated 8-10 hours per week mid/late April to October. A stipend is provided.

See our Community Plot page for full details.

YCG distributed over 22,000 pounds of fresh, organic vegetables to those in need over the past decade.

Welcome

We invite you to visit the garden during the growing season. You'll find it on East Main Street between Estabrook's and the Transfer Station. See a map.
